Click the 'images' icon to see your current uploaded images, then click the 'upload new images' button to proceed.
You will see a set of 5 boxes and a browse buton to 'browse' your computer for the image to be uploaded
(either double click the image file or press 'open').
    ... and that's it.  It's that easy!
Then you can create a template with that image(s) and include that template to an ebay form, or upload other images. Top

What does it cost to use Auctionpix?

Its FREE ! but your image is only 'held' for 15 days, if you want long term hosting then you need to click here. Top

Why don't I see a "browse" button where it asks me select my image?

You are most likely not using a browser that is compatible with our service. We currently only support Internet Explorer 4 or higher, and Firefox or other similar Mozilla based browsers. Your browser must be RFC 1867-compliant . Top

Why do you only support Internet Explorer 4 or higher and Firefox etc?

These browsers incorporate a technology that allows transfer of files through normal web pages. This is how Auctionpix retrieves your image and puts it on our servers. See also answer above. Top

Why must my image be saved in .jpg or .png format ?

This is the most common form of file type of images used on the internet.  It's a type of 'file compression' that gives good clear images and not too many kb's to upload/download (your auction images will 'show' faster!). Top

    What is copy and paste?

"Copy and paste" refers to placing something inside your computer's invisible clipboard and then retrieving it. To copy and paste simply highlight a text area with your mouse by holding down your left mouse button and dragging the cursor over the text you wish to delete or copy. Once highlighted press "CTRL" and "C" at the same time. This places the text inside your computers clipboard. Once there you can move your mouse and cursor to another document and "paste" the information into it by pressing "CTRL" and "V" at the same time. (CTRL is short for the control key, located in the far lower left hand corner of your keyboard.)
You can also do it by highlighting the text as above, then right click to 'copy', place the cursor where you want it, and then right click and 'paste'. Top

Why do you need my e-mail address ?

Your e-mail address is needed to communicate with you!  Auctionpix may send you an e-mail messages for the following reasons:

    • When your account is opened, Auctionpix sends your account details to you
    • If there is a problem with your image(s)
    • Notification of system downtime
    • Auctionpix.co.uk related news.

As a rule NO!  Only in dire circumstances will we manually upload your image for you.  Top

Can I change the any of my Auctionpix images in my online auction?

Again, NO!  Once uploaded, that's it.  However, in dire circumstances (and if your auction has bids) we can 'swap' or delete an image manually for you.  If your auction has no bids, just upload your new image and use the 'revise' function on your listing. Top

What happens if try to upload files which are not .jpg's or .png's?

Files other than .jpg's or .png's will not upload, you will get an error message. Top

What is the maximum size of a graphic image can I upload?

125 kb is the maximum and .jpg or .png format only, any bigger and your auction will take for ever to load.. Top

Help!  All my images have disappeared.

Remember, with a free account, images are auto deleted 21 days after upload
It is wise to only upload an image(s) just prior to your auction listing, and not the week before ;-).. Top

Can I use a Macintosh computer?

Yes, as long as you are using a web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) which is RFC 1867-compliant to be able to upload images etc. Top

Do I need any additional software to use the service?
