How to use our new image hosting system
  • To upload an image it must be in file format .jpg or .png
  • Its file size (in kilobytes) must be less than 50 kilobytes
  • I recomend Irfanview for this
  • Log in using your user name and chosen password, select the 'images' tab
  • Select the 'upload new images' button
  • Click the 'browse' button to locate your saved image folder on your PC
  • Once found, double click the selected image, or click 'image' and 'open' button
  • Click upload ......... and thats it, your image is now 'on the web'
  • You may turn full urls on or off (to show your image name, or the actual image url)
  • IMPORTANT Uploaded images are re-named, please ensure you use the correct name
  • Uploaded image url looks like this : http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/users/qx123.jpg
( qx123.jpg is a 'random system generated' name given to your uploaded image)
  • The html to display an image in an item description field is :
    <img src= http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/users/ qx123.jpg > (for free users)
    <img src= http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/members/ qx123.jpg > (for full members)
  • You will need to edit qx123.jpg to your own image reference of course
  • To auto include your uploaded image(s) to an eBay auction, select the templates tab
  • Free users, select either the single template, or the double or triple image template
  • Click continue, and click the picture box, select your image(s) from those shown
  • You can now add a border, click 'configure background' select a colour or pattern !
  • Full members, you can select many templates, add, format and edit text as required
  • Name and save your new template
  • Select the Launch Pad tab, enter your ebay user details and click 'continue'
  • Select the ebay site you wish to list on .com, .ca or .co.uk
  • Select an appropiate catagory
  • Select your created template or uploaded image from the options displayed for you.
  • Complete the page as required and submit
  • The html to display your chosen image(s) is auto included for you.
  • Practice makes perfect !
  • To use Launch Pad Scheduling for auctions or collections (full members only).
  • Select ebay forms, use existing or create new folders (collections)
  • In each 'collection' you can create an auction, complete as normal.
  • Use of 'copy to' creates a copy of selected auctions in same or alternate folder
  • Use of 'move to' moves selected auctions to selected folder
  • Select Launch Pad icon, and select auction or collection
  • Select the launch time and date (changing time zone to yours) and submit
  • The system will launch your auctions at your pre set time and date ( pretty neat 'eh !)
