How to use our new image hosting system
- To upload an image it must be in file format .jpg or .png
- Its file size (in kilobytes) must be less than 50 kilobytes
- I recomend Irfanview for this
- Log in using your user name and chosen password, select the 'images' tab
- Select the 'upload new images' button
- Click the 'browse' button to locate your saved image folder on your PC
- Once found, double click the selected image, or click 'image' and 'open' button
- Click upload ......... and thats it, your image is now 'on the web'
- You may turn full urls on or off (to show your image name, or the actual image url)
- IMPORTANT Uploaded images are re-named, please ensure you use the correct name
- Uploaded image url looks like this : http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/users/qx123.jpg
( qx123.jpg is a 'random system generated' name given to your uploaded image)- The html to display an image in an item description field is :
<img src= http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/users/ qx123.jpg > (for free users)
<img src= http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/members/ qx123.jpg > (for full members)- You will need to edit qx123.jpg to your own image reference of course
