To create your eBay auction Cross Promotion widget, use the following directions for an eBay auction or page

Register with auctionpix.co.uk

You can choose between a FREE account or MEMBERS account : Start here

Create your auctionpix user name and enter a valid email address

On receipt of our auto email with your temp password, login to auctionpix.co.uk

Select the eBay tools section

Select the Slide Show tool (Cross Promotion widget)

Enter the eBay ID you wish display the auctions from

(Note : This must be an ID connected to you, you can no longer cross promote 'any' complimentary eBay ID)

Select the eBay site, sites or ALL supported sites your auctions are listed on and wish to display

Select a border colour of your choice (the default border colour is grey)

Click either the 'Generate SlideShow HTML for eBay' button for any eBay page

Or the 'Generate SlideShow HTML for MySpace etc' button for any other web page

You will now see the required HTML code to display the slide show

Copy/paste ALL the HTML shown to an auction, auction template, web page or FaceBook/MySpace template.

Remember : You need to be in HTML view for an eBay auction description to copy/paste HTML

Remember : The slide show will only work if you use the eBay Gallery Image option

To auto add the Cross Promotion to ALL your eBay auctions

Create an eBay token from the Welcome page, using the eBay ID you wish to add the cross promotion tool for.

(Further information on eBay tokens is here : eBay tokens)

To use multiple eBay ID's, you will need an additional auctionpix account for each ID

On return from eBay log back into your auctionpix account

Select the 'personal info' section

(Here you can also reset your temp AuctionPix password to one of your choice)

Check the box entitled 'Add Slideshow to any NEW eBay auctions created on an eBay website'

Select the eBay site or sites your auctions are listed on and wish to display

Enter the eBay ID you wish display the auctions from

(Note : This must be an ID connected to you, you can no longer cross promote 'any' complimentary eBay ID)

Remember : The slide show will only work if you use the eBay Gallery Image option

Don't forget to click the save button!

How to add this widget to your FaceBook profile

Either log into your FaceBook account and search applications for eBay Slideshow

Or follow this link : http://apps.facebook.com/apix-ebay-slideshow

Once added, you can then set your parameters, such as seller ID, Keywords, Border Color, eBay sites etc

Click save and thats it, the eBay Slideshow is installed using FaceBook's API ;-)

How to operate this widget

Either press your space bar, enter key or click on the gallery to activate your mouse cursor

You now have an intuitive mouse control, the further left or right your cursor, the quicker the scroll time.

Centralise your cursor in the display to stop, or click any displayed image to visit that auction.

Demo version, the eBay auction version is very similar

Thats it, you are set to go, your eBay cross promotion widget is now available!
